The North Glade Cardinals Optimist Club was developed to provide a safe haven for the youth of North Dade and its surrounding areas.

It is our organization's objective to foster programs that will enrich and enhance the growth of our local young people.
Through athletic, academic and social programs we will provide an environment that strongly exemplifies sportsmanship, competitiveness, teamwork, safety, and fun.

Saturday, Aug. 28th  - CHEER CAMP - Attention all Cardinal Cheerleaders  we will be holding an all-day Cheer Camp at North Glade Elementary on Saturday, August 28, 2007.   For more information please contact your Cheer Coach or Cheer Commissioner, Ms. Tiffany.

Wednesday, August 1st – MAKE-UP PHYSICAL EXAMS - If you have not taken a physical exam yet you can do so this coming week.   We have a physician coming on site to do team physicals on Monday, August 1st, from 6PM – 8:00PM in the registration room.    If you have not turned in you physicals yet, we recommend that you take one then – they are only $10!   If you do not have a Physical on file by Tuesday, August 2nd you will not be allowed to practice.   So make sure you get one if you need it.

Friday, August 3rd – PARENT MEETING –  We will be having a parents meeting on Friday, August 5th, at 6:30 PM at North Glade Elementary School in the Cafeteria.   We are requesting that all parents attend.  Come and get an official update on park happens, up coming events and ask your questions directly to the Executive Board. 

Friday, August 17th  - CLUB PEP RALLY– Parents, players ,fans, and sponsors we need your help to rally up our boys and girls as they head into their first game on Saturday, August 18th.  Come on out and enjoy music, food, friends and fun… Lets get it on and Poppin!
